Polices for
The Paulding County Library
The use of the meeting room is a privilege extended to the public sector at the discretion of the Library.
The Paulding County Library Services Department does not endorse the meetings or programs held in this room unless specifically listed as a sponsor.
The Paulding
County Library does not extend "special privileges" to any organization or
person insofar as the use of the meeting room is concerned. The regulations are
for everyone.
Library and County related functions
will be given first priority.
Other request will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The Library
will not accept reservations for a series of meetings which will designate the
library as a regular meeting place for any organization.
The Paulding
County Library's meeting space will accommodate up to 100 people.
Tables and chairs are available for your
use, but you are responsible for setting
them up and taking them down.
Please read all the Rules and
Regulations below before filling out this form and signing your acceptance.
The Meeting room may not be used for:
Private, social gatherings such as showers, parties, family reunions, etc.
Commercial meetings, or gatherings held for
financial gain or furthering a commercial interest
except by charitable non-profit organizations.
Programs or classes that require a fee for attending.
Meetings organized by a political candidate or organization specifically for the purpose of campaigning.
No monies may be collected on library premises with the following exceptions:
Fund-raising events conducted by non-profit groups in which the proceeds go to the direct benefit of the Library.
Dues collected within a non-profit group.
Fees charged by an organization for
materials used in a program or for meals served as part of a program.
All programs must be open to the
public.
Meeting rooms are available for use only during normal library hours.
Mon. - Thru. 8:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M.
Friday 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Saturday 8:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.
SUNDAYS - CLOSED
SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE LIBRARY. FOOD AND DRINKS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE LIBRARY
Permission to use the library meeting room may be withheld from groups damaging the room, carpet, equipment or furniture, or for failure to comply with these rules and regulations. Groups causing disturbances during meetings will be asked to leave.
